God created a Garden

Veronique-coutie. Found on Pinterest-3-8-19.

With such infinite care.

He filled it with lovely trees

And flowers that were rare.

He stood near a lofty giant

And touched its bark with His hands.

He could feel the tree sap flowing

As He gazed toward distant lands.

He carved the earth for a river

That would water the plants that grew

Throughout the Garden of Eden

That He had made brand new.

He was pleased when the river filled

With the rain He caused to fall

Over the grasses and flowers

And where the trees stood tall.

God walked in the cool of the evening

After the sun went down.

He enjoyed the beauty of summer

And sleeping on the ground.

Yet, He found something was missing

Found on Pinterest on 6-21-18. Nature Walkz.com. By Christopher Gandy.

That would make it more complete.

So He created the birds to sing

Sweet notes they could repeat.

And the world was far more lovely

When He placed stars in the sky

And a moon to lighten the darkness

As the night drew nigh.

God loved what He had created

And was happy for a while,

But something was still missing.

He longed for another’s smile.

God created human companions

Who could love and converse with Him,

And  share in the beautiful music

Of the heavenly seraphim.

Sweet Lord, oh, dearest Lord,

Please hear my earnest prayer:

Keep safe my loved ones as they sleep.

Keep them in Your care.

Found on Pinterest on 6-11-17. Saved from meetup.com. Darkfire. Magic & Mysteries.

The world can be a scary place,

Full of so much darkness.

Bring them out into Your light

And fill them with Your kindness.

Give them strength to be true,

To the values they hold dear.

God will always be close by,

To take away each fear.

We shall one day overcome

The gulf that death imparts.

For God’s love conquers all

When He lives in our hearts.

Sing praises to the Heavenly King,

Found on Pinterest on 11-12-17. reiki.reikihealingsecr. Camino al cielo.

For Christ, He has risen.

Lift your voices to the skies,

We now have a new vision.

Once, death we could not overcome

and losses multiplied.

We knew we’d never see again

Loved ones who died.

But Christ has made it possible

For us to live again,

In a different place and time

Absolved of all sin.

We’ll greet the ones who touched our lives

And hold our loved ones near.

Found on Pinterest on 3-18-16. Easter Resurrection Greeting Card. Robyn Stacey.

We’ll play with our special pets,

And wipe away a tear.

We’ll sit near the Lamb of God

As He tells a story.

We’ll marvel at His parables

And drink in His glory.

Sing praises for the Holy One,

Who died for you and me,

So we could live with peace and joy

For an eternity.

Love Lifted Me On Wings Of Glory.

Love lifted me up

on wings of glory

to knock on heaven’s gate.

God asked me to tell my story:

“Was your life built on love or hate?”

“Did you love the Good Lord

with all of your heart

and try to do His will?

Did bitterness come and tear you apart

from a God who loves you still?”

“Did you give to the hungry

and share with the poor

the resources you had,

and welcome the stranger at your door

and make him feel less sad?”

I looked down, as God spoke,

tears flowing from my eyes.

” I loved my neighbor well

and I heard the stranger’s cries.

But Faith is where I fell.”

“I wanted more for me

which I felt I deserved.

So I placed the blame on God

and that is how I swerved

from His path, on to the sod.”

“I tried with all my heart

to do what God wanted.

But I couldn’t seem to see

the blessings. I was haunted

by the failures in me.”

“To trust in God was hard.

So much I did not know.

I tried to do God’s will.

I tried so hard to grow.

I failed Him I know.”

I wept as I knelt in

the green grass, with shame.

I heard the gate open,

 and God called my name.

“Come child, come on in.”

-Yu/stan/kema.
