The threads of life are woven

Through the corridors of time

And often bring changes 

Without reason or rhyme.

 

Past mistakes are useful

In learning right from wrong.

We can use such weaknesses

To make our souls strong.

 

The days we are given

Remain a mystery to us.

We decide how we live.

We pray for righteousness.

 

Our past can be a prison

If we focus on what’s gone.

We need to move forward,

And find things to build upon.

 

For God holds us accountable

For the hours we spend

On earth loving others,

And the message we send.
