I am the forest primeval.

I have existed for eons.                          

There is a silence deeper 

Than any absence of sound.

When you enter the place

Of the Most Holy,

Moss grows abundantly

On the rocks and trees.

Ferns grow waist-high 

And cast lingering shadows 

On the forest floor.

Birds silently fly up

To the top most branches

Of the Redwood trees.

Butterflies glide in 

The afternoon breeze.                         

Animals pad softly by                           

And stop to give tribute

To the Most High.

Souls unite with souls

And create a more

Perfectly made whole.
