A Symphony of Trees., Love of trees., Photos taken by Jim Tanselle., poetry by Yu/stan/kema, spirituality
Trees stand tall before me,
Varied in colors of green and brown.
Green leaves of a rich, warm green,
And trees with leaves of chartreuse,
Become happy trees, joyful trees that
Swing in the sweet, summer breeze.
Tree tops sway in rhythm
To their own individualized songs.
Some trees dance in an easy-going way.
Others dance boisterously as with hardy laughter.
And then there are trees that sway to a lullaby.
A Norway Maple shelters me as I read.
Its tree bark is a beautiful brown.
The branches are made for swinging.
Its large leaves shake in the wind.
The Maple tree speaks to me of joy.
And wraps its branches around my heart.
There is nothing like a tree
To remind me that God is nigh.
