The more I live, the more I see                          

Something good can come from me.

The more I read, I come to know

How much knowledge helps me grow.

I find I’m humbled by the chance 

To read of greatness with a glance.

There’s so much more I need to learn

As the fire for wisdom burns.

But there is much I can gain

From witnessing another’s pain,

And reaching out a helping hand,

To  those I need to understand..            

There’s so much more that I could be,

If I showed compassion for me.

There’s so much more that I could do

If I shared God’s love with you.
