Faith is so difficult to achieve.

When I was young, I believed

God could do anything for anyone,

And I believed my persistence and

Focus could allow me to overcome

Any obstacle in life, achieve any goal.

 

Now, I am old and I carry huge scars

On the inside walls of my heart and soul.

Illness forces me to see somethings are

Bigger than me or my awesome God.

I have lost the faith I had as a  child.

Maturity wants me to accept what I am.
