Oh,sweet Jesus, when I’m weary,

Much too tired to start the day,

Light a candle in the darkness

So that I can find my way.

 

Be my rock in times of trouble.

Hold me up when the oceans rise.

Do not let me drown, dear Savior.

Hear my fading, fearful cries.

 

 

Keep me safe from all temptation,

Focused on the goal ahead.

Never let me get distracted,

Or forget the words You’ve said.
