Spirit of the living God,

Wrap around my soul.

Take all of my wounded parts

And make me feel whole.

Come fill the lonely places

Where fear and sorrow dwell.

Use your awesome power

To make my body well.

Spirit of the one great God,

Fill my mind with peace.

Touch the hurtful memories

And give me sweet release.

Take feelings of abandonment,

Throw them out the door.

Give to me the answer:

What am I living for?

Spirit of the Holy One,

Sweep my soul clean.

Remove anger and deceit

So Christ, in me, is seen.

Help me do the will of God.

Set my spirit free

To love my neighbor
