The time has come

To set all fears aside

That lie within this

Trembling heart of mine.

To release these tears,

And develop courage

About my childhood years.

 

The time has come

To erase my pride

In keeping secrets

That I’ve learned to hide.

 

The time has come

To lessen my distress

And learn to trust

In your righteousness.

 

It’s no easy task

For both of us to do.

Please believe in me,

And I’ll believe in you.

 

If we both work hard

I’m sure we will find

That we have become

A part of God’s design.
