Out of the Arabian desert
We came riding, riding
A horse the color of
Moonlight.
The horse breathed
Fire
From it’s nostrils,
It’s dark mane
Touched our skin
Like the gentle ,
Rough fingers
Of a lover might.
We rode low
Upon his back
Feeling his sweat
Wet
Against our thighs.
Muscles quivered
Beneath our knees,
A great heart
Beat
Inside its chest.
We felt the rhythm
Of its hoofs
Upon the
Burning sand.
The wind
Roared
Inside our ears.
The earth
Became a blur
As horse, wind
And riders
Became
One.
I felt joy
Rise Up
In me
As we became
A part of
Being free.

Awesome! I loved the rhythm you carried while also setting some words apart to draw attention to them. Great job!
