The soul is an intricate part of man and  craves nourishment in order for it to reach its highest level of enlightenment. It is made of Spirit and so it seeks the emptiness of space, grand vistas, and solitude.

I can nourish my soul in my  back yard by closing my eyes and blocking out all the artificial sounds and focusing instead on the sounds of birds, the feel of the wind against my skin, and the warmth of the sun’s rays. Soon, I am transported to a different level of consciousness a soft, relaxed, gentle place. I can also reach this level of consciousness when i am communicating with someone who gets who I am and honor’s me for where I’ve been, and support’s my journey toward’s growth.  I like this quote from hqlines, an” Autumn Sky Morning”:

‘ The soul usually knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind.’
